Mission: The BeautyMark Foundation
is a for profit company dedicated to
recognizing and combating the poverty
of mind created by the misfortune of the
under-privileged child. Each year the
Foundation makes a donation to a
women’s and children shelter.
The BeautyMark Foundation is
sensitive to the needs of children
and will continue to recognize
their needs in the work that we do.
The concept for the BeautyMark Foundation began when I used a felt tip pen to draw beauty marks on women in the office. Each beauty mark sold for $1, with the proceeds benefiting the Pediatric Immunology Clinic at the University of New Mexico. The intent of the donation was to make it possible for a family to bring their child into Albuquerque for treatment. Together that day we raised $85. Since its inception, the BeautyMark Foundation has donated thousands of dollars to local children’s programs.
